Who We Are
Neighbors Preserving the Hill Since 1938
The Grossmont-Mt. Helix Improvement Association (GMIA) is a non-profit 501(c)(4) serving as a unified voice for over 7,000 single-family residences — representing approximately 20,000 people in the Mt. Helix and Grossmont area.
Unlike a typical homeowners association, we do not own property or employ paid staff. GMIA is a true community effort, proudly guided by an all-volunteer Board of Trustees elected directly by our membership.
